I am unable to do justice to the sheer feeling of the film. So apologies. I remember watching this as a child from a very young age at Christmas time. It was a time of pure magic and innocence.
Walking in the air sung by Peter Audrey or find the original piano score on youtube. There is a short animated movie based on The Snowman by Raymond Briggs often played during Christmas in England.

Arousing of a mighty monster from its sleep
